Appearance as defence assistant is disciplinary proceedings does not rquire much expertise in constitutional law. However, you should familiarise with the law and procedure governing such proceedings. For instance, in the case of Central Government employees, CCS(Conduct) Rules as well the CCS(CCA) Rules.
