Bengaluru : gift deed : property transfer help

Dear Sirs..

I am looking for gift deed as plot to my family member( first level) for plot I am owning
in bengaluru nearby whitefield. (I guess its in khata B).

1. Please, let me know what all things/docs, I will need.

2. How much time it will take for getting property owner name updated.

3. anything, I need to take care... pros,cons.

PS: it was initially farm land..and then got it  plotted and converted from builder.
