guys tell me somthing that bribe giver is exempted in negotiable instrument act . u/s 138.

means BRIBE giver in my case accused working in office as a cleark and they give false promises that you give me 50000 i will give you job on that point she cant recrute that boy nd she gave 50000 cheque return and that cheque bounce for that bribe giver is exempted from this illegal transaction

To attract 138 there should be legally payable debt.  Giving bribe is also an offence and cheque issued to return the taken bribe does not come under the purview of SEc 138.
