Bank related

a company deposited some amount in my cousin's account. my cousin has withdrawn some of the amount and he ran away.now the company approaches his family to back rest of the amount through cousin's cheque.company says that they already freeze the account,only they want return cheque. In this condition what can company do with the cousin's family and how they recover their amount.
