Bank fools investor with wrong investments

This was in the year 2007 that my family members were fooled by the "Business Relationship Manager" into wrong mutual fund investments of an esteemed bank.....The investment was to the extent of 30 lakhs

My family was assured of very high returns & within 5-6 months our funds were fetching not even 25% of its original value....Co-incidentally there was a stock market crash also...

Is there a law which gives protection to consumers when they are misled into wrong investments....At the same time how does the consumer also prove its innocence.

This is nothing but a sales-manship and it is enirely upon the consumers to make sudy indepth prior to make any decision of their investment. There is no definite law to deal with such situation.

YOU MUST SEE THE OFFICIALS OF THE BANK.GET YOURSELF ACQUAINTED WITH THE BANK PROCEDURE ABOUT THE FUNDS PARKED BY YOU.YOU CAN FILE COMPLAINT WITH SIFO/LOCAL POLICE ABOUT YOUR WHOLE STORY.

GIVE DUE PUBLICITY FOR WHAT HAS HAPPENED BEFORE SOMEONE  ELSE IS CHEATED.
