Asking for maintainance

My spouse just quitted his job soon after my marriage as i have a well paid job. He absolutely doesnt have any balance/back up and started asking me for money. I gave him enough and at one point I had to stop. He still doesnt have job or any source of income. He survives on his parents.All he has is flat jointly held by his father and brother. I decided to quit him. What are the options for me to recover my money from him?

if he is not earning u canot claim maintenace from him since you are employed and able to look after yourself. If he is harassing you and demanding money than it can be a reason to seek divource if he is demanding money for women, wine and gambling if he is demanding money for day to day expenses than nothing can be done .He is laibility and consider it to be a bad assst and write off such bad assets to secure your future . Try for mutual divorce by demanding your money he will seek compromise and thean you have your say. You cannot demand money from His fathers or brothers property .
