1. IS classified as a weapon and CANNOT carry it on person /hand baggage, while traveling in flight.

2. However the same can be carried in checked-in luggage, while traveling in flight, without any declaration.

File  RTI application to Aviation Ministry or Indian AIrlines and get a certified copy of such norms/orders and carry with you in your journey.
