Applying for pr in canada

This is more a personal problem and not legal as you have to take a decision on your own.  We have received many such queries in the forum in the past as to how innocent concealment shattered marital bliss. Frankness pays. ( It is left to your decision as to whether marriage is legal or soial and a frank and open discussion to proposed,  ensures peaceful future or not)

Thank you Prasad Sir, it would be great if you could suggest me on the below query.

Query: If I get married with him anbd apply for spouse / dependent Canada Visa/ PR, then should I need to mention in the Spouse visa form that I was legally married and seperated in US ?   I should not get into imigration problem. Please guide me.

What about your pass port used for going to USA ?  (The marking and your marital status on it /)

Please consult specialists in Emmigration law for suitable remedy as they come across these cases regularly and competent to guide you.

For the present you may try to use all such methods i.e., suppression of your previous marriage, previous visit to US etc from your Canadian fiancee but what will you do when he somehow comes to know about the fact at a later date?

As Mr. Prasad opined, it is not a legal query hence no advice can be given on such issues, you have to decide on your own.

My passport holds K1 visa stamp (Fiancee visa) not spouse visa.

I believe it is a legal query.  My query: Can I mention in the Canadian Spouse visa that I was never married before? As neither my previous marriage was registered in India nor I had any social marriage in India / US. Marriage was registered in US and was filed for seperation in US within 15 days of marriage registration. 

I would like to request you reply to my query.

When you file marriage certificate from Registrar, such a question never arises.  Give advance notice To registrar of Marriages, file application with wedding card, marriage hall certificate, three photographs of garland exchange, sutra dharan and saath phere around Agni, call on Registrar with two independent witnesses and enclose marriage certificate.  No questions are asked either at Registrar's office or PPO.  (I never heard any one asking whether you were married before or not, when a recent marriage certificate is available).  As far as legality is concerned, there can not be any doubts and do not assume things or fears about legality and no one questions you.
