Quick Summary
This discussion addresses eligibility for government jobs after a conviction that was later overturned by the Karnataka High Court. The consensus is that you are eligible for both state and central government positions. However, it is crucial not to conceal the past legal proceedings; disclose them truthfully when prompted in application forms.

Filling the required column after understanding required fact is necessary.

Ex:

Are you convicted:   NO.

Was there any criminal proceeding pending against in any court:  Yes.

Whether Karnataka High Court has set aside the order of conviction and acquitted you on the basis / strength of wrong appreciation of evidence, insufficient evidence, evidence beyond reasonable doubt or any other reason.?

Yes, you are eligible.
