Apartment leaks from top floor- not repairing

in an apartment complex, water leaks into the apartment on lower floor from faulty bathroom of another apartment in the floor above; the faulty apartment owner has let it on rent; when residents from lower floor request for rectification of leaks from top floor, neither residents in the top floor nor the owner of the apartment in top floor respond even; how the lower floor apartment resident can seek help in making top floor prople to repair the leaks from from floor to lower floor?

In which State are you? Is it a co-operative housing society? If not, have you got a registered or unregistered residents' association? How old is your building? Did the upper floor resident/owner carry out any plumbing or other work in his bath-room? How long is the leak?

Please do a civil report and then you can send legal notice to your neighbour and secretary (if any). Thereafter you can sue your neighbour and ask for compensation and mandatory injunction.
