Any Time limit for dowry case? especially for NRI

Prevention is better than cure. But there are no such provisions in our legal system for query. If you are in the right path without meting out harassment to your wife then always " Justice prevails to your side"

So even if they file a false case against you then you can prove that they had a malafide intention to incriminate you in this case.

There is no limit or control in india to file any false case. Anybody can file any false case on anyone. Especially wife can do anything to anyone by using the law.   If you are an indian citizen then there is no way that you can escape from legal terrorism.  Your wife is not filing this false case just by herself.  Government, police, and judicary all with her side. Imagine how one single innocent person can escape from false case?

Remember f you are NRI you are the very good target for money and legal terrorism.
