Hi,

Anticipatory bail means when you anticipate your possible arrest in a non bailable offence, you have a option called "Anticipatory Bail" (not applicable in the state of UP) in which you can deposit bond money and keep yourself out of jail. Means Anticipatory bail prevents police from arresting you in a non bailable offence until further court ruling on your arrest.
