Alimony for unemployed wife after divorce

My brother is getting divorced but no children , but my sister in law is umeployed but having PG degree in engg and from a well off family, can she claim for maintenance and alimony from my brother, even if she claim in future if she gets married whether still he has to pay maintenance.

capacity to earn and earning in actual are two different things. same has been reiterated by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in a recent judgement

Is it a Contested Divorce or Mutual Divorce, Because if it is Contested divorce than your brother will have to pay a nominal amount of alimony to her wife, but if it is Mutual Divorce then, I am wondering why there was no MOU, between the parties.

And moreover she can claim maintenance till the time she gets married
