Agreement date prior to stamp paper purchase date

Hello Sir,

Stamp paper paper is purchased on 02-01-2018 and on first page its written that "This deed of partnerhip is made at Mumbai on this 26th day of December, 2017......"

Will this be valid ?? If not then can we correct it by pen and all partners counter sign it or we will have to buy new stamp paper and then correct the date.

Please if you may advise.

Can I print this on the fresh stamp paper but its purchsed in advocate's name

Deed of Partnership can even mention that the date on which the named parties/persons/partners agreed to enter into partnership was 26th December,2017 and the deed to this effect is being made on 02.01.2018.

Purchasing new Non-judicial Stamp paper will cost you again and it will bear the date of 3rd or 4th Jan, 2018 as the case may be. In the new NJS paper you will than have to mention the date according to date as mentioned on it for entering into partnership by the parties.

Name of advocate or any partner on the NJS paper hardly matters.

Thanks. Since stamp paper is already printed, hence the query, therefore I will have to buy a new stamp as suggested by Mr. Manoj unless alteration was allowed iff parties counter sign the date alteration.
