Agent on behalf of petitioner or respondent before court

Dear Friends,

Is there any provision in law under  which, a person can proceed his matter by appointing a Agent (a general person, non-professional), instead of Lawyer/Advocate on record to lead his matter before Hon. High court and Hon. Supreme court of India in Criminal as well as Civil matter?

If any body have any info regarding my above query then please share with me.

Under section '32'  of Advocates Act , any person (even non- lawyers), can be nominated as a representative   to preset the case before the courts. It reads as follows:-

Central Government Act
Section 32 in THE ADVOCATES ACT, 1961
32. Power of Court to permit appearances in particular cases.—Notwithstanding anything contained in this Chapter, any court, authority, or person may permit any person, not enrolled as an advocate under this Act, to appear before it or him in any particular case.

Regards
