advice need advice

someone hacked my mobile phone and he was able to listen each conversation by me through the mobile phone so the thing is I got that my mobile phone is hacked and I made a defamatory statement against the hacker and he listened my statement now can the hacker file a defamation case against me? I did not make the defamatory statement public though

Quick Summary
If your mobile phone has been hacked and you made a private, defamatory statement that the hacker overheard, they likely cannot file a defamation case against you. Defamation requires a public statement, and a private conversation, even if intercepted, does not meet this threshold. It is advisable to report the phone hacking to the police cyber cell as phone hacking is a criminal offence.

Hello,

Hacking mobile phone is difficult. However presuming your phone is hacked and your statement is heard it will not lead to filing defamation case against you. As it is not even addressed to you. Phone hacking is crime. You may approach police cyber cell and file complaint against him.
