 NO, ADOPTION DEED IS NOT A COMPULSORY REGISTRATIONABLE DOCUMENT EVEN AN ORAL ADOPTION IS ALSO VALID UNDER HINDU ADOPTION N MAINTAINENCE ACT .

Under Hindu adoption - the Givign the  child and taking the Child in adoption is very important to eb proved -

A Dcuement  is not  required , but it is desirable to execute a  Adoption Deed and to get it Registered , to see that the adopted child, at later stage , should not  face any problems - to prove his adoption  which took palce when he was small boy !

Is there any ruling that adoption deed is not mandatory for adoption and it can be done oraly?
