Hi,
I am separated from my husband and not yet divorced. I have been trying to adopt a baby for sometime. Now that I have found my little angel, I cannot adopt as the divorce is yet to happen. The adoption agency has requested that I should get the `no objection' from my so called husband. I really fail to understand the Personal Law amendment 2010 which says that a women undergoing divorce can adopt provided she gets a `no objection' from the estranged husband. Why would he give me a letter when his idea is to trouble me. This amendment does not really help the women who are separated.
Can anyone advice me how can i get the baby before the divorce. Is there a way out?
