Admission of writ in high court

        What is the maximum or minimum period for admitting writ petition in High court of India.Our advocate has kept the case at pre-admission stage for about 2 years.He is telling many resons for not taking the circulation.Is this true or false from the part of advocate/

Writ jurisdiction is invoked case of violation of constitutional rights and for enforcing your rights. 

2 years is a long time. Ask him to get the job done or you change your advocate.
