hi i was hit by a truck while driving my car and i had to be operated. my problem is that my car insurance had expired but there was no damage done to the truck but my car was completely damaged. a fir was immediately filed, the truck driver was arrested. can i get some compensation from the truck owner pl help

sir, you cannot claim insurance amount for the repair of your car from insurance company as your insurance was expired. But if the court decides that accident was caused due to negligence of truck driver, then you can claim compensation from the truck owner.

yes compensation from the truck owner u can get if the court decides otherwise u wont be able to get insurance , as the insurance of the car is expired.
