About right over property

Hi

My grandmother, who was the third wife of my grandfather, had purchased a land and house from her STRIDHAN in 1967 in UP state during the lifetime of her husband. My grandfather died in 1975. My grandmother died in 2004. She remained undisputed owner of the property. She had made a registered will in favor of her real sons.

Now after 08 years of her death in 2012, my cousins (grand son of second wife of my grandfather) are  claiming that they are the having the right over the property saying that she had purchased the land and house from her husband's business and not from her STRDHAN .

What remedy my senior citizen father (real son of my grandmother) do have in this regard?
