About passing dv orders by magistrate

dear sir,

i want to know, if magistrate passes some orders in DV cases ( no orders have been passed until present) then where do we go for appeal?

sessions court or high court

can the orders be stayed when appealed in high court?

do we need to comply with any order of the magistrate before filing for appeal?

thanks everyone

Under section 29 of DV act u can go to Session Court withing 30 days of order delivered to you.

I believe it can be stayed in High court or even Session court...experts may comment.

U can skip the maintenance part and file for appeal and inform the magistrate @ the same. Magistrate can ask u to comply with orders though anytime.
