About Court Fees In Andhra Pradesh

It seems like there is guidelines for court fees dictated by A.P.C.F & S.V act.

In reality I have see cases instituted by ridiculous court fees. On a property worth Rs. 50Lakhs, it is valued at Rs. 10000 and fees paid on that. In addition when the plaint is served there is no information about court fees.

Is there a back door mechanism that allows suits to proceed on such low court fees.

When is the right time or  procedure to bring to the attention of the court on the low court fees paid?

thanks in advance,

Srinivas

MERE DECLARATIONS REQUIRE ONLY NOMINAL FEE OF 300-1000/-, WHEN THE PRAYER FOR POSSESSION OF IMMOVABLE THINGS ,THE FEE WILL BE AROUND 4000- TO 1% OF THE VALUE.

EVEN CONSEQUENTIAL RELIEFS ALSO ATTRACTS HUGE FEE SINCE THE PRAYER ENDS FOR THE SAME POSSESSION  ULTIMATE OF IT.

Who is responsible for ensuring correct court fee is paid? I dont believe there is a fool proof system in place. From a 3rd party prespective, it seems hapazzard or even possibly corrupt.
