A website bought my gujarat e-stamp for me. is that as good as buying it myself?
I made an eleven-month rent agreement for a flat in Ahmedabad through an online service. I paid them once — the stamp duty was itemised separately from their fee — and they arranged the e-stamp through a collection centre.
The certificate verifies on shcilestamp.com and names me as both the purchaser and the person who paid the duty. The website's name does not appear on it anywhere.
Is a stamp bought on my behalf like this on the same footing as one I bought myself at a counter? Has anyone had one questioned on that basis in Gujarat?
