Apart from the MDR, restaurants cannot levy any additional charges on customers' bills. It is illegal for restaurants to charge any service charge or other hidden charges in the name of tips or any other services. Customers are free to leave a tip voluntarily, but it should not be imposed by the restaurant. Any violation of these guidelines can result in legal action against the restaurant.
