Dear querist,

Answer to your query is on negative side. In case of adoption of a daughter by any Hindu male or female, they should not have any daughter or son’s daughter at the time of adoption.

Which personal law applies in your case?

Are you all Hindu?

Is there any (proven) custom in your community (that has attained sanction of law) related with facts of matter posted by you?

Confirm!

GO thru the provisions of personal law that applies in your case e.g;

THE HINDU ADOPTIONS AND MAINTENANCE ACT, 1956;3,6,8,9,10,11

CARA rules on relative adoption; Adoption Procedure for Incountry Relative Adoption

Toll Free Help Line No. 1800-11-1311 | Email : carahdesk[dot]wcd[at]nic[dot]in

And FAQ e.g; 2. Who can be adopted?

ii. A child of a relative (a relative means the child's paternal uncle or aunt, a maternal uncle or aunt or paternal and maternal grandparents)

and

Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2015; 2

(52) “relative”, in relation to a child for the purpose of adoption under this Act, means a paternal uncle or aunt, or a maternal uncle or aunt, or paternal grandparent or maternal grandparent

And

MINISTRY OF WOMEN AND CHILD DEVELOPMENT NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 4th January, 2017

You may also approach a very able LOCAL counsel of unshakable repute and integrity specializing in concerned field of law e.g; Adoption/civil matters as in your case, and well versed with LOCAL applicable rules/personal laws/CARA rules-latest notifications etc  …. and worth his/her salt, and your counsel can advise you after examining all docs, evidences on record and even draft the required/suitable deed for you.

There are such very able counsels at each location.

Check for such counsels at LOCAL civil courts, HC, SC…
