7 years of staying apart

I'm a catholic married in 2009. My wife and I have been staying apart since 1 year due to incompatibility issues. Its more on her side where she was s*xually hyperactive and caused alot of problems making it difficult to stay with her.. Today I'm in a scenario where she doesnt want to divorce but wants to stay separately.. I dont have any evidence to prove her guilty. I was told by a lawyer that If I stay apart for 7 years, then I can file a case and she cannot claim any alimony from me..Is it true?

I've tried all my efforts to save the marriage, but its not working. I tried speaking to my wife to agree for a mutual divorce which is not happening. How can I get rid of this situation?

To add on- my wife had huge adjustability issues. Life for her was eat, drink and sleep. No conversation, no reciprocation to my words nothing. Man looks for a compatible wife, but I got a glorified maid. There was no interaction between us when we parted ways for 6 months.
