I am a resident of Bangalore. One person filed a false complaint against me at delhi u/s 506. On investigation, Police expunged the complaint stating that the accused was not present at delhi, and it was a false complaint to take advantage in court cases that the complainant had with me. Now can I file a court complaint u/s 340 against that person at Bangalore to initiate malicious prosecution or what are the other sections under which I can take action against this person? I have lost my reputation as all my friends and relatives are aware of this Police complaint.
