Hi Sir, My name is ritesh, working in delhi & i got married 7 years ago in Varanasi, UP (my home-town). i have a child of 2 years. My wife left me before 1 year 4 months. now she & her family are threatening me to file a false case of 498a. i want to file a divorce petition. My questions are: can i file a divorce case in delhi whether i am resident of UP. can she file 498a while she is living with her family more than 1 year. what would be consiquesnce if she file 498a. is there any plus point if she is away with me n my family more than a year? please help me!!
