Hello,
Can some one please explain me what is the exact procedure of 406 (Stridhan) ? What is the exact step Police follow to recover the Items and what are the possible ways to stop so that FIR can not get registered .

how u can invoke a proviosn of IPC without filling FIR.
when u will complain in the police u will be required to give a list of your belongings.
police will send the list to the respondent home to recover the item.
