Ms. Indu Malhotra, the author of the third edition of book made a dedication stating that, “The third edition of the book is dedicated to my late father, Shri O.P. Malhotra, the original author of the book who was keen that this work should continue.”

Former Chief Justice of India M.N.Venkatachaliah said, “At the outset, I would like to congratulate Ms. Indu Malhotra for bringing this elegant and erudite edition of a classic on a topic which has an ever expanding role. This is a fitting tribute from an erudite lawyer – a daughter to her scholarly father - which turns out to be a gift to the legal community as well.”

Swarup Choudhury, managing director, Thomson Reuters India added, “It is a privilege for Thomson Reuters to bring to India’s legal community the third edition of this prestigious book. It is a useful compendium for practicing lawyers and India’s courts. The book deals with many recent developments in arbitration law and the question of jurisdiction of domestic courts to entertain challenges to awards made by foreign commercial arbitrations.”

On the sidelines of today’s book launch, a panel discussion on the Investment Treaty Arbitration discussed the White Industries’ case. Panelists for the discussion included Hon’ble Justice R.M. Lodha, Mr. F. S. Nariman, Senior Advocate and Ms. Zia Mody, Managing Partner, AZB & Partners.
