according to me 379 ipc not cover the theft of electercity.but most of judge in our judiciary do charge of 379 on theft of electercity.

It is not good sign for the advocates that the judicia officer is not taking the cognizane of the new law Act i.e The Indian Electricity Act.2005 which is spceial enactment and the offences are tried by the ASJ not by the Magitrate.
