Once notification of rotation of panchayat elections is issued, courts have no scope to intervene

Quashing of the notification making reservations and rotation effected in respect of Grama Panchayat Elections - Subsequent notification was issued notifying calender of events - Whether notification providing for reservation and rotation is liable to be quashed in view of subsequent notification issued?

Smt Shavari v. The State of Karnataka (Decided on 19.04.2010)

Held, in view of the notification of the calender of events, there is a bar for this Court to entertain this petition as contemplated under Article 243-O of the Constitution of India. In this view of the matter, this petition cannot be entertained. Petition dismissed.
