Without consent of the spouse, it should be forced intercourse. the marriage between the gent and lady be performed according to the consent of the both parties and to the different customs. hence the question of marital rape does not arise.

Marital Rape? Marriage, also called matrimony or wedlock, is a socially or ritually recognized union or legal contract between spouses that establishes rights and obligations between them, between them and their children, and between them and their in-laws. The definition of marriage varies according to different cultures, but it is principally an institution in which interpersonal relationships, usually sexual, are acknowledged. In some cultures, marriage is recommended or considered to be compulsory before pursuing any sexual activity. When defined broadly, marriage is considered a cultural universal. So the issue of Marital Rape can't be raise.

There is no reason to change the existing law in this regard, therefore the decision by government in this regard is highly appreciated and an encouraging factor. This if allowed will arm the arrogant and egoistic with one more deadly weapon for false cases against their spuses.
