In our country we hero/heroine worship Let us applaud their contribution and at the same time let us refrain from making them God. Good for nothing persons, just because they have done or alleged to have contributed get undue attention which they think they have liberty to foul mouth all the way and the gullible people will lap it up faithfully. this servile attitude of us shall go and the so called celebrities shall be shown their correct place in society Till such time we will me forced to hear such nonsense. ARISE AWAKE AND GUARD THE INTEGRATY OF OUR COUNTRY JAI HIND.

People who do not know history of the country shall not open their dirty mouth. She may be good in one aspect of life that does not give license to talk on matter/s which she does not know. Trying and punishing such people shall act as a reminder to others also. Here there is no question Right to Speech etc. Talking against the land Oh God! save my country

Arundhati Roy or who ever it may be, no one is greater than law of the land (Constitution) Every citizen should be treated equally. She should be prosecuted for sedition. Note, Absolute Democracy will corrupt the very purpose of Democracy. I feel in India we are not implementing the laws in force, and we are creating new laws which due course will not be implemented. LET US IMPLEMENT LAWS ENACTED IN LETTER AND SPIRIT. LET US SAVE INDIA. LET OUR LEARNED FRIENDS STOP SUPPORTING WRONG DOERS. JAIHIND. NANCHILL J RAJKUMAR

To save Right of Freedom of speech as guaranteed it is essential to check arbitrary , unlawful and irrelevant interpretations of treaties and constitutional provisions. Interpretations declared in harmony with social background by the Apex Court should be accepted.

This is the way where the famous personalities mis use the right of freedom and speech. A scholar, Booker prize winner has now blabbered something. She has right to speak her thought but not to speak against the sovereignity of our nation. It is better if she is penalised

The Government cannot decide who to be proceeded against who to be immune. If Arundati has committed a crime of which Govt. is aware, she has to be proceeded against as per law. Article 14 of the Constitution does not provide any immunity to Arundati. The govt. is setting a very wrong trend.

In India nothing is beyond law, so one can not say just like a word that Kasmir is not a part of India. Before saying so she must conscious about her words because this word not for the Kasmir state, it is to all the people of India.

I am of the sincere opinion that unless the provisions of Indian Penal Code which excludes the State of Jammu and Kashmir is addressed, such comments are bound to be accepted. Ms.Arundati Roy is just exploiting the loophole in the law

In a democratic society, there are other ways. Why are Indians buying her books? Stop buying them and pressure publishers to stop printing them. Raise hell where she goes with cries of 'Traitor and Paki Stooge'. Sooner or later she will come to her senses. Who the hell is Arundhati Roy? A history expert?
