Justice Panchal takes oath as Chief Justice of Rajasthan HC Sunday, September 16, 2007 16 September 2007 Rajasthan Governor S K Singh has administered the oath of office to Justice Jagdish Madurlal Panchal as the Chief Justice of the state High Court today. The oath-taking ceremony was held at the Banquet Hall of the Raj Bhawan in the morning. The function began with Chief Secretary DC Sawant reading out the order appointing Justice Panchal to the post. Rajasthan Assembly Speaker Sumitra Singh, Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje and her cabinet colleagues, Lokayukt G L Gupta, Judges of the High Court, Advocate General BP Agarwal, Jaipur Mayor Ashok Parnami, DGP AS Gill were among the VIPs present on the occasion.
