I had filed an application for bail in sessions court on 1st sept and the matter was kept for order on 15th sept on that day PP made an application for filing proper reply and since then the matter is kept pending for reply and the judge is not ready to pass order. So, can I make an application under section 408 for transfer of bail application? Whether section 408 is also applicable for bail applications or is it applicable only for matters and appeals?

It is applicable for transfer of matters & appeal and not for bail application . you can push judge for PP REPLy at the earliest . For Reply it does nt take much time.

Thanks Adv. Nikhil. However the difficulty still persist. So, can I approach High Court for expediating the bail application?
