While working in an NGO in 2001 I and one other person stood guarantee for 50000/-rs. for another person who did not repay the loan and absconded. I resaigned in 2009 but was re-employed by the same NGO on a per diem of Rs.1500/- per day for max 3 days week in Sep 2013 with out any other benefits. My query: Is the NGO covered under RTI? Am I liable to pay the entire amount?

Yes NGOS are covered under RTI Act and various provisions of law.
And also liable to be penalised for any debt or liability upon the same.
