Victim Of Dowry Harresment

Dear seniors, FIR is registered under sections 498A,406,506 3,4Dp act,Not received summons,When I check online ecourt.services website it is showing below. ActsUnder Act(s): INDIAN PENAL CODE, 1860 Under Section(s): 498-506 IPc sec 3 and 4 DPAct 406 is removed,instead of 498A it is 498. Is it a mistake or IO removed sections?

If you willfully refused to receive the summons then as you had checked and confirmed the FIR is against you then attend the proceedings on the scheduled hearing dates and fight your case on their merits, regarding sec it should be 498a, mistaken it was written 498 .

Thank-you sir for Ur reply @laxmi Kant joshi What about section 406 it is not there. I had FIR with me in that Sec 406 is there.

Section 498 in The Indian Penal Code
498. Enticing or taking away or detaining with criminal intent a married woman.—Whoever takes or entices away any woman who is and whom he knows or has reason to believe to be the wife of any other man, from that man, or from any person having the care of her on behalf of that man, with intent that she may have illicit intercourse with any person, or conceals or detains with that intent any such woman, shall be punished with imprisonment of either descripttion for a term which may extend to two years, or with fine, or with both.

Sec 406ipc is for criminal breach of trust, generally in matrimonial cases it is for stridhan, if you had returned her stridhan then 406 ipc is waived off, attend the court you will get the copy of fir read it carefully and then act accordingly.
