My friend got divorce from her husband in USA. They were married in India and the marriage is registered in India
Now she is planning to come back to india and marry some one else in India.
Would there be any legal hassles as the divorce was not decided in India. Can she register her new marriage as well without submitting any documents/proof

u have to submit the Divorce in Indian Court.
as India court has jurisdiction as the marriage had solomonized n registered in India.
but Indian Court recognises in some case divorce order passed in some nation as valid but then also that divorce order must be registered in india n appropriate changes must be made in Registrar of Marriage.
