Road accident Advice required ipc 279 , 337

Hai 13th Oct 2012 on NH47, I met with an accident. My car hit a motor cycle, it was a face to face collision, the motor cycle came in the wrong direction in NH47. The motor cyclist was seriously injured ( skull fracture, hand fracture, and was in unconsious stage for around 3 to 5 days). He is a police officer. As per my knowledge he was drunk, but this is not reflected in the FIR. They registered an FIR UNDER Section 279,337 IPC. and charged a case saying that, I was < "rash & nigligance driving, and which lead to the accident, it is also mentioned that the accident took place in NH47 and was an head on collision. Now it's around 3 years, and case is not yet started. Now my problem is, I have recieved an apportunity to go abroad for my better carrier. Please advice what should I do ?. How to tackle the issue ?. Regards, Aby
