Property division

satnam singh took a land on lease in 1940. satnam singh had two sons vikram and balram. satnam singh and vikram died during partition in 1947 . vikram had one son and two daughters and balram had two sons and five daughters . now lease expired in 1955. balram purchased the same land in his name and then sold it to a firm BALRAM SINGH AND BROTHERS in 1964.in which the sons of vikram and balram did business . now 2015 three sons ..one of vikram and two of balram are alive. balram singh also died in 1992. he left no will behind 

now the question is what is the share of vikram"s son in this property.

No one has any share in the property from inheritance. 

The property belongs to the firm. When the partnership is dissolved, the net amounts shall be distributed in the ratio as mentioned in the partnership deed.

But partnership deed is never registered According to the land record keepers in distt courts vikram singhs son holds 1/2 share in property They say so
