Person prosecuted under section 467 died subsequently

Hi,

Once a person was chargesheeted under IPC 420 & 467 and was behind the bars for doing a forgery in important papers. Now before the trial he died due to ill health.

Now the question is, the property acquired under this paper is valued a lot. What recorse the other party should take to a) defend that the acquired proprty transfer to be termed as void;  b) can the beneficiaries be punished who are enjoying the fruits on his behalf?
