Patta

Sir/madam,

I purchased a plot in 2012, 766 square feet as per document registered in registrar office, after 2 years me and others who purchased plots were decide to apply for patta in sub-registrar office, the surveyor measure the land and said all are cross plots and the calculation done by the owner who sell the land is wrong and he calculated according to formula and said it is not 766 square feet, it is only 666.5 sq.feet and after sometime the main surveyor from the main office also measured and give us patta same 666.5 square feet, now the difference between my document and patta is about 99.5 square feet, and the same for others also square feet reduced from the original document square feet more than 100 sq.feet.

In this condition, i try to sale my plot but brokers say they only take patta is only 666.5 square feet, not 766 square feet as per document.

we asked the land owner who sell the plots, but he said he is not responsible for me, in this condition what we need to do, please help.
