Ni act- money lending license

What is the proof that that complainant gave you money? Did he give it by cheque and you deposited it in your bank account?

I would like to know from you regarding the following questions:

I work in the Press and wants write an article regarding Private Money Lenders in my town involving Lok Adalat and Police.  I notice number of victims from these Private Money Lenders......

1. Is keeping Blank Cheques legal? If yes, under what sections. If illegal, what are those sections.

2. Lending Money  (Say some lakhs of rupees) without licence. is legal?

3. Most of the Private Money Lenders avoid IT payments...what are those sections offended under IPC?

4. Most of the Private Money Lenders indulge in the collection of abnormal rate of interest  i.e. monthly, weekly or even daily, is it comes under money laundering? If yes, what are those provisions?
