Medical reports?

previous medical records should be kept by hospital unto 2yr 5th 10 yr 1 yr Else? ==== Patient should get his reports from doctor/hospital within 24 hours 48 hours 72 hours 96 hours I think question is non specific but asked in exam so if anyone have idea, pls answer. Thx.
