I feel this is the right forum to take up this exercise for the benefit of student community. I want everybody to sincerely participate in this thread and post their honest replies as to how special are these Advocates. I have been regularly following the career of the following advocates for the last 20 years. I found many aspects are Very Very Special in them in their own way.

(a) Why they are best?
(b) What is their success formula?
(c) Who are all their mentors?

My honest intention of this post to benefit upcoming lawyers who can take a cue from the experiences and feedbacks shared by our upcoming lawyers. This item invited good response from our eminent lawyers in the experts section.

I think following qualities are essential to become successful lawyer..

intelligence,
hard work and dedication towards the profession, ability of quick understanding,
good memory to relate and quote past cases to prove your point,
patience and perseverance.
clarity of mind, analytical ability, clear and lucid expression,
clear and loud voice,
logical interpretation,
dig out facts, express them verbally or in writing, convincing power and last but not least
good library.

To possess a robust perseverence and raw courage to face all the political odds associated with the case and above all a Trust worthy GURU in the ranks of a Senior Advocate. Please contine friends and I will keep on posting the positve aspects of a successful professional.
