marriage without saptpadi but registered

Page no : 2

(Guest)

Sh. Dr. Tripathi ji, As per Case Law of SC for Hindu's "saptapadi" is the only conclusive proof of marriage before Law. I have this case law allow me to search in my database if required I will send it across. But then in so many cases SC Bench differed its own "fellow brother's views" so depends how effective pleading by one Sr. Counsel stands against the other Sr. Counsel :-)))

dr tripathi, when you have marriage registration certificate, it is full proof of a hindu marriage. If anyone challenged that marriage, then this question may come. Then it also to be seen that, whether the person has lucas standi to challenge it or not. Due to any reason you are interested to show the marriage – is no marriage in the eyes of law, then question of saptapadi may arise. Set your logic according to your need
