hi ,
how effective are the services of legal service authority in the state of tamilnadu. is it easy to get a reliable advocate to fight a case .? is the LSA service for all or only for people below poverty. some say, advocate provided /service provided by LSA may not be worth and ther are good chances losing the case itself as these advocate dont show n court dates/prepare good case etc etc..
pls advise on the benefit of LSA service

No one can guarantee or assure you of any reliable service.
The winning of any case depends on material facts on record, the presentation skills and the convincing skills.
As you know, those who are very competent can never opt for LSA panel and those fresh and without adequate preactice on their own may enrol themselves in panel of LSA.
It all depends on the discretion of Secretary, who provides such legal aid.
It is not possible to guess and foretell as to competence of that advocate that handles the case, and every thing ultimately depends on individual luck.
Yes. There are instanes wherein a litigant with awareness and interest on his own, uses the counsel to his advantage. It is not possible to estimate competencies of every one including the Judge.

Yes, there cannot any definite and assured suggestion on the topic. Perhaps, this applies equally well when engage the any lawyer, considered to be the best. All that could be hpoed is get the best professional assistance, not necessarily the best or the ideal result.
