Can you please explain the recent observations of the Supreme Court with regard to the General Power of Attorney

In Suraj Lamp & Industries case Supreme court held that developers and builders who have been developing the properties on the basis of GPO or sale agreement and selling units therein is not valid transfer of units they sell, unless they get registered sale deed in their favour.
